The cube loop is a location in Submachine Universe.

Architecture

The area is a series of small, claustrophobic cubes. The walls, ceiling, and the floor are a sterile gray, with geometric line patterns etched in them.

There are actually only four rooms in the area: The portal room, the room containing "Mur's workshop theory", the room containing "The Memento theory", and an empty room. However, there's no particular structure to the area. Regardless of whatever direction the player goes, the rooms loop infinitely in a repeating pattern.

Map

The four types of rooms alternate in this particular order: Portal (drop zone), 4 empty rooms, Theory #1, 3 empty rooms, Theory #2. This repeats infinitely.

Trivia

• This location is a direct reference to the movie Cube 2: Hypercube.
• The location's coordinates, 888, are linked to the symbol and concept of infinity, which characterizes the whole location as an infinite loop of rooms.
• This is the only known XYZ location so far that does not have a regular lab portal. The control dials and start button are embedded in the wall, as well as one of the "spheres". Two poles protruding from the ceiling hold the other spheres.
