The Ionic portal hub is a location in Submachine Universe.

Architecture

The location architecture is similar to the tunnels from Sub6. It is comprised of an upper and lower level.

The lower level contains the portal as well as a weight stone that can be placed on a wooden stick. This retracts a gate of spears that leads to a room with a machine containing three gauges. A plasma vial is resting on top. The middle of this level contains two Ionic columns with a clue to 277 scrawled on the wall to the left. Behind the columns are tracks for a golden ladder that is activated from the ladder release chamber.

After activating the ladder from the attic, the player can access the top row of rooms, which continues the architectural style of stone walls and columns from the lower level. Eight rooms contain six stone pedestals with suspended rings of stone, deteriorating in succession as the player moves outward from the center. One of the pedestal rings contains a karma portal to the Prince room and another ring contains a portal leading to aqa.
