The laser room is a location in Submachine Universe.

History

A note in the left chasm suggests that a sub-bot retreated here to rest because it was in a dangerous situation.

Architecture

The location seems to be a large tube emitting/transmitting large amounts of karma. It is possible that the tube is supported from below with beams, but it could just as well be floating in the subnet like many other locations. All that surrounds this location is the void.

The tube is made of a special sort of concrete etched with ancient-looking glyphs seen in many other locations around the subnet, particularly of the Ziggurat. Karma flows freely throughout the tube. There is some sort of meters in the ends of the tunnels, most likely to monitor the current. These meters also have controls on them, but they cannot be accessed.

In addition, there seem to be long spikes or poles sticking out from the tubes, perhaps for either decoration or to serve as a maintenance ladder.

In total there are three rooms, with the portal in the center one and both end of the tubes on the left and right ones. In the left one, there is a plaque saying QI = THIS + 475.
