The Lost plane is a location in Submachine Universe. It is one of the two guessable locations; not clued by any other room in the game. The other location being 314.

In the Shattered Quadrant section of Submachine Legacy, it is referred to as Airplane wreck caught in a spatial anomaly.

Architecture

The area consists of four different screens depicting the interior of a plane.

There are small windows on the walls. The walls are painted white and are covered in rust stains. The floors are made from grey tiles.

In the room left of the portal, there is a plaque that reads a sequence of numbers:

4 8 15 16 23 42

The location is a loop. In the map below, the two leftmost and rightmost rooms repeat when traveling away from the portal. The player only need start going in the opposite direction to immediately arrive back at the screen with the plaque or the portal.

Ambient

The ambient starts with the cheerful chirping of bird and crickets. After this a Morse-code message can be heard:

This translates to "MAYDAY", an emergency signal in radio communication.

Trivia

• This location is one of the only two "Easter egg" locations in the SubNet, with coordinates that can be guessed, the other one being the Pi Room.
• This room is a direct reference to the television show Lost, a show that Mateusz Skutnik likes.
  • The coordinates 815 are the same as the flight number on a plane from the show.
  • The panel reads "4 8 15 16 23 42", the same recurring numbers from the show.
