The vista is a location in Submachine Universe.

Architecture

The location is situated in the void and exhibits certain Edge elements. This means that the background is dominated by wires, cords, and hoses of some sort. As for the floor, it means that the floor has no real features, other that it is flat, patternless, metallic, and most likely floating as well.

Unique to the SubVerse, there are floating surveillance-cameras set around the room, though in a less subtle (and eerier) way than other areas which contain them. There is one in each room. All of the cameras will evade the mouse when moused over and take pictures, which are signaled by tiny red and green lights on the cameras and an accompanying snapshot sound.

The area itself has three rooms. The one on the right is the drop zone and as such it has the portal in it. In both rooms left from here, there are video screens, but only the one in the middle room works. It plays a movie that was the intro video intended for Submachine 2: The Lighthouse in its original version.
